Were you lucky enough to view the beauty of the solar eclipse today? With us being located in a part of the UK which was cloudy at the time we were not so lucky.

So we have put together some amazing eclipse artwork for you to drool over!

Tobias Roetsch – Oh man, we have found a new love for the solar system with this portfolio! The attention to detail from this digital artist is astounding. Tobias is a German artist who started a collaborative project with another German artist, Jeff Michelmann, in 2006. It was a portfolio project that turned into an established source of sci-fi high-definition artwork.

Saverio Solari – a concept artist from Rome. His work has so much depth to them, they are somewhat 3D but then at the same time not quite. It plays with our eyes and we like it! head over to https://www.artstation.com/saveriosolari for more of his work!

NASA have tracked the full progress of todays solar eclipse including some stunning imagery.

NASA states: The last glimmer of the sun is seen as the moon makes its final move over the sun. This is above Madras, Oregon. A total solar eclipse swept across a narrow portion of the contiguous United States from Lincoln Beach, Oregon to Charleston, South Carolina. A partial solar eclipse was visible across the entire North American continent along with parts of South America, Africa, and Europe.

 This image is just so mesmerizing! The colour and the capture of the detail is amazing. Photography on a whole new level. Thanks NASA for these magnificent images of todays solar eclipse.
